Was up in Derry last weekend searching for one of Sonys new handheld PSP's. Traipzed around the usual suspects; GAME, GameStop, HMV, Virgin (there are never any virgins in there incidentally), Argos, Index, etc. None to be had anywhere, no-one sure when theyd next get them in.
So, what with being in Dublin and all i took a dander down one of the shopping areas. Went into GameStop first, picked up the box, went to the counter flashing my money..the shop assistant ignored me and continued to chat to his mate on the phone. Feck him. I put the box back down and walked down the street to Game where i got the last one in stock. The guy in the shop told me that stock in the UK is so bad theyve had people flying over from England just to buy them in Dublin! Madness. Anyway, im all psp'd up now.
This weekend up in Derry. Helping one of the new housemates move a doubl e bed up some very narrow winding stairs. Worse than doing a rubix cube, but somehow we got it up there. Im sawing that fecker in half if it ever needs to come down again. Had a dander around town, loadsa people out doing their halloween costume shopping in time for Monday nights festivities. Should be a great night! (but ill be at work dammit)
